checkout links constitute a binding agreement by you to abide by these terms and
conditions. The following terms and conditions, along with all other terms and
legal notices located on this website (collectively, “Terms”), govern your use
of this (the “Website”). If you do not understand and agree to be bound by
all terms and conditions, do not use this website, or place an order.
Restrictions Regarding Materials:
All information, documents, software, images, photographs,
text, services, and other similar materials (collectively, “materials”)
contained in this website are provided by this site or its third-party
manufacturers, authors, developers, and vendors (“third-party providers”) and
are the copyrighted work of the third-party providers. Except as stated herein,
none of the materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished,
downloaded, displayed, posted, or transmitted in any form or by any means,
including but not limited to electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or
otherwise, without the prior express written consent of the site administrator
or the third-party provider. No part of this website, including logos, graphics,
sounds, or images may be reproduced or retransmitted in any way or by any means
without the prior express written consent. You also may not without this site's
administration's prior express written consent, "mirror" any materials contained
on this website on any other server.
Privacy Policy/ Security Policy:
We do not give out any information you exchange with us. As
always, the privacy and security of your personal information is our number one
priority. The transfer of sensitive information between you and this website is
protected by the highest standard of encryption technology available on the
internet, SSL (Secure Socket Layers). SSL enables the creation of a secure
"conversation" between your browser and our secure e-commerce servers.
When
you place an order, all of your information is encrypted for the transfer to and
from your browser to our servers via the internet. While this “conversation”
could potentially be overheard, it cannot be decrypted. Furthermore, all
customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access once received
within.

Purchasing and Ordering Disclaimer:
Terms and Conditions.
In purchasing a product online, by phone,
fax, mail-in, or via a custom checkout link, you understand and agree to the
terms below. If you do not understand and agree with these terms and conditions,
do not place an order. We are not responsible, and no refund will be processed
for any incorrect diagnosis that you or your third party has made.
Errors on Our Site:
Prices and availability of products and services
are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to revoke any
stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions including
after an order has been submitted whether the order has been confirmed and your
credit card charged or not. If your credit card has already been charged for the
purchase and your order is canceled by us due to a website error, we will issue
a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Individual
bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.
Fraud Prevention: Orders over $500 may require additional verification from the
customer. This may include a photo I.D., a signature, or any other
verification we feel necessary to verify the order is approved by the cardholder
and is not fraudulent. We reserve the right to deny any order if the order does
not pass our internal and/or third-party verification process.
Phone Orders: All phone orders are recorded and are subject to the same terms and
conditions stated on this page. Customers are notified of the terms and
conditions regarding special orders, backorders, made-to-order, or electrical
and gas parts at the time of their order. Customers MUST agree to these terms
and conditions before an order is taken and processed. If these terms and
conditions are not agreed to, the order will be canceled and will not be
processed.
Your responsibility.
You have sole responsibility for the use of the
products you purchase through this website.
In no event shall we be liable to you about the products, or your use,
misuse, or inability to use the products, for any (1) indirect, punitive,
special, exemplary, incidental, or consequential damage (including loss of
business, revenue, profits, use, data or other economic advantages).
Part installation of genuine, replacement, or generic
parts: If you are not a licensed,
qualified technician, you are responsible for hiring a qualified service company
to install it for you. Do not attempt to install parts you are not qualified to
install. Injury, damage, or an electrical short to the part or other parts can
occur for which we are not liable. No warranty, exchange, or refund will be
given for any electrical part that was installed by an unlicensed, unqualified
individual or repair company.
Shipping Days:
Parts are shipped Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Shipping times are
based on normal business days. Next-day and 2nd-day air orders
must be received by 10:00 AM to make our shipping cut-off time. In some cases,
we can ship your order as late as 5:00 PM EST. Please call if you need a
specific delivery time before placing your order. Due to the nature of rush
orders, next-day, and 2nd-day air orders are not guaranteed by Expert
Appliance. We are not responsible for the delay caused by the shipping company. IMPORTANT: We
try our best to ship orders on time. However, when selecting your shipping
options, please
be advised that these delivery times are from the time of
shipping, not from the time the order was submitted. Please understand that it
takes time to receive the order, verify parts, process the payment, pick your
order from the warehouse, properly pack it in a box, label it, get it ready for
the shipping carrier, and for them to pick up the package.
Delays in Shipping:
In no event shall this company be liable for any damage or loss of
monies you may incur caused by delays in shipping and or delivery of products
ordered. Shipping problems do occur, however, are rare. Deliveries can be
delayed by back orders, special orders, made-to-order, and out-of-stock parts.
Orders can also be delayed due to rural addresses, weather, holidays, or other
reasons by the shipping carrier.
Damage in shipment:
If you receive a damaged part and the box or packaging is damaged,
bent, wet, etc. we must be notified within 7 business days from the date of
delivery. To file a claim for damage caused during shipment, you must keep the
original box and packaging materials. A claim cannot be filed with the shipping
carrier outside the 7-day window and/or without the original box and packaging
materials as the shipping carrier will require photos of the damaged box,
packing materials, and merchandise. The shipper may also want to come out to the
delivery address and inspect and/or pick up the package. If we are notified
after the 7-day window and/or you no longer have the original box and packing
materials, a claim cannot be made. If you still have the original box and
packing materials and it is still within the 7-day window, please send an email
to customerservice@expertappliance.com to file a claim. In this email, please include your first
and last name, and order number along with photos of the damaged box or packing
materials. Please also include photos of the damaged merchandise. We will then
file a claim with the shipping carrier. Denied damage claims by the shipping
carrier will result in a recharge of the original order total. Unpaid balances
will be turned over to the collections department.
Failed Delivery Attempt or Delivery Refusal:
Failed delivery attempts, delivery refusal, or deliveries lost or
stolen after delivery to the address provided on your order will not be given
any refund, reshipment, store credit, or exchange. We are not responsible for
deliveries that are delivered to an incorrect address due to an incorrect
address provided by the customer. If the shipper tries to deliver the item/s and
the package is refused or no one is available to accept delivery after 3
attempts, the shipper will return the parts to us. The shipper charges us both
ways for this. We can reship the parts again to you for the cost of the
additional shipping. Orders that qualified for free shipping will be void.
Overseas Delivery: We are not to be held responsible for lost packages by a mail
carrier outside the 50 states. We are also not responsible for delays in
delivery, or any additional fees charged by customs. Any parts that are
delivered outside the 50 states are non-returnable.
Shipping Cost:
If you are ordering a compressor, coil, or any other heavy or bulky part, there
could be an additional shipping charge. You will be notified of any additional
costs which must be approved before your order is processed.
Special Order and Made to Items/Parts: Special and made-to-order parts will be charged at the time your
order is received and before it ships. Special and made-to-order parts can take
anywhere from 14-90 days before your parts ship.
This applies to all orders including online, phone, mail-in, fax, and
custom order links. You will be notified of any additional fees for your
approval before your order is processed. No credit will be given on canceled
special and made-to-order parts. Special and made-to-order parts cannot be
returned under any circumstance only exchanged if found to be incorrect or
defective. If you receive an incorrect or defective part, you must contact
us within 7 business days from the date of delivery of your part. You must
contact customerservice@expertappliance.com or call 1-603-367-3611.
Incorrect Part Ordering: In no event shall we be liable for any damages, credit card
chargebacks, or loss of monies you may incur caused by incorrect part ordering
due to any misdiagnosis by you or a third party. Any order placed that is
not correctly filled out will be automatically corrected for you. Example: If
you order a part online and enter the incorrect price, no price at all, or
choose an incorrect shipping method, you will be contacted for your approval
before your order is processed. Once approval is given by phone, text message,
or email, your order will be processed.
Payment By Check: All checks are verified through a third-party check verification
service before an order is shipped. If a check cannot be verified there will be
a 2-4 business day processing time before any shipment is made. This includes
all expedited shipments as well. Returned checks can be accessed at a fee of
double the face value along with any other bank charges that we may incur.
Checks returned for insufficient funds, stop payment or closed accounts will be
collected by us and/or other outside collection agencies. Returned checks for
any reason will be assessed as an additional $50.00 fee plus applicable sales
tax for each check. These checks may be collected by an outside collection
service. Applicable collection charges assessed will be charged. We aggressively
pursue fraud with local law enforcement agencies.
Pricing and charges:
All prices are subject to change without notice. Every effort will be made to
ensure the accurate pricing of the products featured on our website. In the
event, a part or accessory is ordered, and our listed price has changed to a
higher amount due to a special order or the parts have been updated very
recently by the manufacturer, you will be notified before your order is
processed. Note: your updated price along with any additional terms which you
have agreed to by phone, email, or text message will be shown on your invoice
sent by email.
Charge Backs or Stop Payments: Any chargeback or stop payment will be forwarded to our internal
and third-party collecting agencies. Chargebacks and stop payments will be
accessed with a minimum fee of $75.00.
Online Orders Placed on Hold. If you receive an email, text message, or phone call stating that
your order has been placed on hold, this does not mean that your order has not
been processed, reserved, or special ordered. This is just a courtesy follow-up
with an estimated date of delivery.

Return and Cancellation Policies:
Our primary goal is to ensure the customer
receives the correct genuine replacement parts before an order is processed. We
provide you with an easy way to acquire parts as a do-it-yourselfer.
We want to make your return process
as easy as possible and work with you to resolve this.
We will accept a return if the parts
are unused, in their original packaging, and have been determined to be shipped
in error by us.
You must allow us to determine if we have made a
mistake so we can correct this at no cost to you. Example: You ordered a light
switch, but you needed a motor. This is not our mistake. Contact customer
service for more information on how to exchange this. NOTE: Some parts look or
are installed differently from the original due to design changes and updates
made by the manufacturer. A part that has been updated in design by the
manufacturer is not considered an incorrect part.
Updates are made to parts due to design changes or improvements to the
part quality. Part numbers can also change. If the part we sent looks different
from the original and you are unsure the part will fit, call us or email us and we can help verify
this. You may have the correct part or the only part available for your model.
Please be aware that some parts are not able to be returned
in this type of industry.
In some cases, we will offer you store credit on
non-qualified returns or cancellations.
Even certified licensed contractors are unable to return certain parts
to the manufacturer. We cannot resell non-returnable
parts due to the safety risk to other end users. These
include electrical and gas parts.
This is an “Industry Standard Policy”.
If you receive an incorrect part or have any questions about how to
return a part, you MUST contact RETURNS@EXPERTAPPLIANCE.COM for the RMA number as no package will be accepted without an RMA
number on the box. This RMA request must
be made within 7 business days of the delivery of your order to qualify for
credit. All qualified returns must be received within 14 days of purchase and
must be inspected for use or damage. All returned packages should
include insurance to cover possible damage in shipment. We are not responsible
for a return that is received damaged by the shipping company and/or incorrect
packaging by the customer.
Special and made-to-order items cannot be
returned. They can only be exchanged if they have been determined by us to be
incorrect or defective. You will then be charged a 50%
restocking fee minus shipping. Returning an item without an RMA number from the
customer service department with instructions on where to return it will void
any credit or exchange. Credits can take up to 30 days. In some cases, you may
also have the option for a store credit for the total amount of your return,
saving the 50% restocking fee and shipping. Store credit must be approved by the
returns department. If you are issued store credit you will be given a store
credit number by email for you to use on other parts at any time. This does not
apply to special and made-to-order items.
Non-Returnable Parts:
Electrical and gas parts.
Electrical and gas parts
include but are not limited to any part that requires electricity or
gas connection to work or has a wire/s, wire connection, or terminal on the
part. This also includes any part that has a partial wire or wire connection.
Other examples: pump and motor or blade and motor. The blade has no electric
part, but the motor does, and it is sold together. These parts cannot be
returned under any circumstance, only exchanged if defective or it has been
determined by our research department that we shipped the incorrect parts based
on your original order and the model and serial numbers provided when your order
was placed.
Other Non-Returnable Parts:
Some examples of non-returnable parts include but are not limited
to:
bi metals, boards, bulbs, burner blocks, burners, Cal rods,
cam stats, capacitors, circuit boards, clocks, coils, coil kits, cold controls,
compressors, condenser coils, condenser fan blades, contactors, control panels,
controllers, conversion kits, custom made filters, cutting grids, defrost
boards, detergent cups, detergent dispensers, door hinge, door hinge components,
door gaskets, door seals, draft inducer motors, draft motors, electrodes,
elements, evaporator coils, exhaust motors, fan centers, flame sensors, fuses,
gas valves, harness, heaters, heat exchangers, icemakers, igniters, ignition
boxes, ignition controls, ignition modules, ignitors, inducer motors, limits,
limit controls, magnetrons, manifolds, motors, overloads, pilots, pilot
generators, pressure switches, pressure valves, pumps, regulators, relays,
restring kits, reversing valves, sequencers, sockets, solenoids, sparkers, spark
modules, stats, switches, thermals, thermal cutouts, thermal kits, thermal
limits, thermocouples, thermostats, time delays, timers, touch pads,
transformers, valves, wig wags.
Returns of electrical, gas, and non-returnable parts will not be
processed. Any installed, used, scratched, or damaged parts by the consumer
cannot be returned. Special and made-to-order parts cannot be returned or
canceled under any circumstance once placed. Parts that are no longer
available/obsolete cannot be returned.
Cancellation Policy: An order for products or services represents a commitment on the
part of both the customer and the supplier. Processing an order requires
an allocation of time, processing fees charged by the credit card
processor/bank, and other resources unseen to the customer. We employ the
following order cancellation policy. Cancellations must be done within 1 hour of
the order being placed and be done before 2 PM EST on the date your order was
placed online or by phone. Cancellations can take 7 days business days before
any credit or refund to a credit card or check can be issued. We reserve the
right to refund the purchase in the form of store credit. This does not apply to
special and made-to-order parts. No cancellations will be accepted due to
shipping delays caused by the shipping carrier, shipments that went ground
instead of rush, or incorrect delivery address information given by the
customer. We will reship another order at no charge if the delay was determined
to be our mistake. Parts that are being reshipped must be in stock. In no event
shall we be liable for losses caused by the shipping carrier. UPS, USPS, FED EX,
etc. If you need to cancel an order before it has been shipped, pending
shipment, and/or before it has been processed there will be a charge of $30.00.
Note: if it has shipped, you must follow the return policy guidelines and
instructions listed above.
SPECIAL AND MADE TO ORDER ITEMS/PARTS: Special order parts including made-to-order parts made with the
factory and/or the manufacturer cannot be canceled under any circumstance. No
refund will be given for special orders, made-to-order, and back-ordered parts.
Chargebacks: Chargebacks
will be accessed a collection fee of 100% of the original purchase amount.
Part Warranty-Defective Parts: This is very rare, being that we
sell high-quality parts. If you do have a defective item, please see our part
warranty section for more details and where you can file a claim.
Limited Part Warranty: Parts carry a limited 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Electrical parts carry a full 30-day warranty from the date of purchase if a
qualified licensed repair company has installed them. This must be verified with
an invoice from the repair company that did the first and original installation,
not after an unlicensed individual has attempted and failed to install them. No
warranty, exchange, or refund will be given for any electrical parts that were
installed by an unlicensed individual or repair company. If the parts were
initially installed by a qualified licensed technician, they must be returned
within 30 days for exchange only. These parts must accompany the original
packing materials. They must be returned first for inspection for damage, power
surge failure, misuse, or improper installation. If this is found, the warranty
will not apply, and no refund will be given. Parts that are determined to be
defective after 30 days for up to 1 year from the date of purchase will be
replaced at a charge to the customer of 50% off the purchased price. Shipping
and handling charges will be additional.
Compressors: To
file a warranty claim on a compressor with the manufacturer you will first need
a repair invoice with letterhead from the authorized technician or licensed
service company that states the following: 1.) Date of installation. 2.)
Detailed problem with the installation (Pictures can speed up the warranty
process). 3.) Type of freon used for the installation. 4.) Method and length of
the vacuum put on the compressor before start-up for the first time. 5.) List of
low-side and high-side pressures noted after installation or while experiencing
the issue. 6.) The technician's final diagnosis along with the symptoms
experienced with the new compressor. 7.) Photo of the model and serial numbers
of the unit where the compressor was installed in. NOTE: Without providing all
this information we cannot process a warranty claim on compressors.
Non-Electrical Parts: Non-electrical parts carry a full 30-day warranty from the date of
purchase, they must be returned within 30 days as defective items for an
exchange only. They must be returned first for inspection for damage,
misuse, or improper installation. If this is found, the warranty will not apply,
and no refund will be given. Parts that have been found to be defective after 30
days for up to 1 year from the date of purchase will be replaced at a charge to
the customer of 50% off the purchased price. Shipping and handling charges will
be additional. To return defective material must contact

Parts that are no longer available/obsolete per the
manufacturer: Parts that are no
longer made or available carry no warranty and are sold as-is.
